Tamarind's Cooking Classes

Steaming Rice Lao cuisine relies heavily on the freshest produce and incorporates a range of intriguing flavours, many unfamiliar to the western palate. We start with an early morning tour of Luang Prabang's major food market where we investigate these ingredients and explain their uses. At our stunning lakeside location you then prepare and cook six different dishes under supervision, then sit down to enjoy them in our open-air pavillions. Recipes are provided for you to take back home...

For more information, please email Caroline: info@tamarindlaos.com. Bookings can be made in person in our shop; by phone in-country (020 77770484); by text message (+85620 77770484); or by email (info@tamarindlaos.com). Please note that bookings by email should be made at least four days in advance of desired date. Classes tend to fill up two days in advance.
