At Tamarind, you can:

  • take a one-day cooking class, learning about local cuisine, customs and ingredients
  • join us for our Friday night special Lao-style fish barbecue
  • buy gift-packs of local produce, cooking implements and recipes… for a taste of Laos at home
  • get to know Luang Prabang, the beautifully preserved ancient capital of Laos

Lemongrass Granita Tamarind has rapidly established a reputation for its distinctive food and authentic small-group cooking classes (see Testimonials). To find out why, visit Monday to Saturday, for lunch or dinner. You'll find us on the banks of the Nam Khan River, in Baan Wat Sene. We're right next door to hip hotel 'the Apsara'.

We cater for special meals and group bookings, with tour groups welcome - we're happy to discuss your needs.
